The Villager
450 Sixth AvenueGreenwich Village has changed quite a bit since the stately six-story luxury mid-rise known today as The Villager was built back in 1902. The Villager, too, has been through many incarnations during that century-plus in Greenwich village: it was the famed restaurant Charles restaurant in the 1940s, was converted from offices to rental apartments in 1981, and given a luxurious top-to-bottom renovation in 1995. Still, the timeless elegance of its pre-war rental apartments, prime location and unique suite of building services ensure that The Villager has remained one of the finest no-fee rentals in the West Village.
